A Commercial Shipment, forwarder, or forwarding agent, is a person or company that organizes shipments for individuals or corporations to get goods from the manufacturer or producer to a market, customer or final point of distribution. Forwarders contract with a carrier to move the goods.

A commercial shipment is one where there is a transaction money involved. You just need to complete the export formalities (necessary documentation) and follow the RBI guidelines. These documentation are different depending upon the mode of shipping (through DHL, FeDex, UPS Couriers).
